Are meals provided at conference? We’ve  go you covered:)!

Housekeeping

Do you have a coat/baggage room?

We do not have a coat or baggage room on-site! If you are staying in the hotel, you are welcome to take advantage of any of the amenities they have available! 

What should I wear?

You should wear what makes you comfortable! Want to show off your new bolo tie and a cowboy hat? Go for it!  We like that too! If we had any advice to pass on, we would recommend that you include some comfy shoes in your suitcase. Networking means spending a lot of time on your feet, so why not some footwear that is easy to walk in while you count those steps!

I lost something at the conference! Is there a lost and found?

Should anything turn up lost, we are happy to hold it for you. Just ask an ACEC volunteer at the event center.

Does the convention center have disability access?

Yes! The event center is ADA compliant. In accordance with the ADA

I got an email from someone saying they have an attendee list. Is that legit?

Should you receive correspondence from someone claiming to offer an attendee list, please do not engage with them in any way. Your privacy is very important to us, so we will never disclose our attendee list to anyone outside the event. The only way to see who is at the conference is through the main office and that list is comprised of thoses that have given us permission to release their contact information.

HOTELS

What hotel should I stay in?

Colorado is a happening place all year round due to its natural beauty of the Rockies Mountains and old world charm, As a result hotels the 2 and 3 star hotels that we are used to can be expensive. Air BNB’s have become popular. Sharing a room is a great option for networking and bonding and sharing a rental hous is a new option BUT JIC you want a hotel room we have some listed on our website and TripAdvisor  is another option.

Should I rent a Car?

Car driving here in Colorado is easy and the sights are well worth seeing. However, do consider Lift, Uber and ride share to enjoy Colorado and to get to the conference center,your hotel, and the cocktail party.  You may also decide to drive from your hotel to the event center. After all this is a modifies wild, wild, west part of our country.

By serving the extreme poor in Myanmar, led to a cutting-edge movement in community-led development and powerful insights and expertise about global poverty.  The Shanta Foundation, an international NGO headquartered in Durango, CO, has a unique approach to community mobilization, leadership development, and community banking that would actually work, facilitating more than 35 villages to find paths out of extreme poverty, even in under the terror of the military dictatorship.
